TrueDialog Integration

This article will show you how to install TrueDialog to your HubSpot account. Once installed, the guide will show you how to get your API key and connect the TrueDialog app to your TrueDialog account.

Install TrueDialog App

You can start the installation process through the HubSpot App Marketplace or by using an installation link.

1. Install the TrueDialog app through the HubSpot App Marketplace.
   1. From your HubSpot.
   2. Enter marketplace in the search bar.
   3. Click All integrations under the Settings section.

      

   4. On the HubSpot App Marketplace, enter TrueDialog in the search bar.
   5. In the dropdown list of Apps, click the TrueDialog app.

      

   6. Click Install app.

      

2. Install the TrueDialog app using an installation link.
   1. Click on the TrueDialog app installation link: hubspotinstall.tdurl.co
   2. Log into HubStop if prompted.
3. Select the HubSpot account to connect TrueDialog with.
4. Click Choose Account.

   

5. Check the Agreement checkbox.
6. Click the Connect app button once ungreyed.

   

7. Click Install TrueDialog App.

   

8. Wait for the Success message.

   

9. The TrueDialog App is now installed, and you can close this window.

Get API Key

When you authenticate your TrueDialog app in HubSpot, you will need to provide your TrueDialog Account ID, API Key, and API Secret. The instructions below show you how to get this information from your TrueDialog Portal. If you don’t have access to the Portal or need help accessing your API Key, contact Customer Support (1-877-501-4276 | support@truedialog.com).

1. Log into the TrueDialog Portal at Login | TrueDialog.

   

2. Click your Account Name in the upper right corner.
3. In the dropdown, select Api Keys.

   

4. In the table, find the user account through which you want the integration to connect.
5. The Account ID is in the Account ID column.
6. The API Key is in the Key column.
7. The API Secret is in the Secret column; click the Eye icon to view the value.

   

8. Keep this page open or copy the values to use when authenticating your TrueDialog integration.

Authenticate

1. From your HubSpot account.
2. Click the Gear icon at the top of the page to get to the Settings page.
3. Under Account Setup, expand Integrations and click Connected Apps.

   

4. Find the TrueDialog app in your list of connected apps.
5. Click the Action dropdown, and click Go to settings.

   

6. Click Authenticate.

   

7. In the TrueDialog Account ID, TrueDialog API Key, and TrueDialog API Secret text boxes, enter the TrueDialog API key values you obtained from the section above.
8. Click Submit.

   

9. The Authentication Successful message indicates that your HubSpot account is now connected to your TrueDialog account.

   

10. Close the window.
