TrueDialog Integration

This article provides instructions on adding the necessary properties to your contacts for sending messages using TrueDialog. After you complete the steps below, the Mobile Phone Number and SMS Opted-out properties will be added to all your contacts.

Once the properties are added, you can follow the instructions in the HubSpot – Updating Contact Properties for TrueDialog App article to learn how to update them. Refer to the HubSpot – Adding TrueDialog Properties to Create Contact article to see how to add these properties to the Create Contact process.

The Mobile Phone Number and SMS Opt-out properties are automatically created when you install the TrueDialog app, but you still need to add them to your contacts.

  1. From the left sidebar, expand CRM and click Contacts.
    Navigate to Contacts
  2. Click the contact.
    Click Your Contact
  3. Click the Gear icon under the About this contact section in the left sidebar.
    Click Settings
  4. Enter mobile in the Search box.
  5. Check the Mobile Phone Number property.

  6. Enter SMS opted in the Search box.
  7. Check the SMS Opted-out property.

  8. (Optional) Change the order of the contact’s properties.
    1. Expand About this contact (account wide section).
      Expand Section
    2. Drag-and-drop the properties to change the order in which they appear on the contact.
      Select Properties
  9. Click Save.
    Click Save
