TrueDialog Integration

This article explains how to send an SMS message to a single contact. For information on sending an MMS message, see the MS Dynamics – Sending a Single MMS Message article. Also, see the MS Dynamics – Adding Other SMS Messengers article for other ways of sending one-to-one SMS messages and the MS Dynamics – Using the SMS Messengers article to learn how to use some of the features of the messengers.

  1. Begin testing by selecting a Contact (Account, Lead, and User records are also supported).
  2. Please ensure the Mobile Phone number is filled in with the correct phone number to use when messaging. Click Text Message.

If the contact’s phone number is stored in a field other than Mobile Phone, please see the MS Dynamics – Setting Configuration Options – Change Default Phone Field article.

  3. Type your message and click the Send SMS button on the ribbon. Messages can also be saved as drafts to send later.
  4. A True Dialog ID will be generated to confirm that the message has been sent.
