Purchasing More Credits

This article shows you how to purchase more credits for your TrueDialog account. Credits are used to send messages in Campaigns and the Comms Hub, with each credit allowing you to send one message. Your plan includes a monthly allocation of credits. To see your plan and current credit balance, access your account settings by following the instructions in the Managing Your Portal Account article.

Where is the purchase total?
The total purchase cost is not shown in this process. To estimate the cost, multiply the number of credits you plan to purchase by the price per credit. The price per credit is based on your contracted rate. You can find this rate on your order form or by contacting the TrueDialogs Accounting Department at accounting@truedialog.com. After purchasing credits, you can download an invoice for the transaction.

Messages exceeding 160 characters will be sent as multiple SMS messages, each requiring a separate credit. For example, if your message is 342 characters long, it will be sent as three messages and require three credits. You can see the message count next to the message textbox when you write your message.

  1. Click your Account Name in the upper right corner.
  2. In the drop-down, select Settings.
  3. Select one of the tabs on the SETTINGS page to get to the different account settings.

  4. Click the Plan tab.
  5. Click purchase more credits.
    Click Purchase More Credits
  6. Enter the number of credits to purchase in the textbox.
  7. Click Proceed.
    Click Proceed
  8. Click Confirm to complete the purchase and charge your card.
    Click Confirm
  9. Wait for the purchase to complete. Don’t refresh the page; this process can take up to a minute to finish.
  10. (Optional) After receiving the success message, you can view your invoice by clicking the HERE link.
  11. Click Close.

Purchasing Error
If you receive an error when purchasing credits, verify that your credit card used for billing is active and valid. If you still receive an error, contact our knowledgeable Customer Support at (1-877-501-4276 | support@truedialog.com).Purchase Error
