Sending Messages > Campaigns
This article explains how to attach a keyword to a campaign. Once a keyword is assigned to a campaign, if a user sends a message beginning with that keyword to the designated number, the campaign will automatically respond to the user. Before assigning a keyword to a campaign, you must first create the keyword. See the Creating a Keyword article if you need to create a keyword.
- Expand Send Messages in the left sidebar and select Campaigns.
- Click the key icon found in the action column of the campaign to open the dialog window for attaching a keyword to a campaign.
- In the Attach Keyword window, click the Keyword(s) textbox to see a list of the available keywords.
- Select a keyword to add it to the Keyword(s) textbox. You can add multiple keywords by repeating this step.
- Keywords can be removed by pressing the x next to the keyword.
- Note: You can attach more than one keyword to a campaign, but each keyword can only be assigned to one campaign.
- Click Save Changes to attach the selected keywords to the campaign.
- After saving the changes, a success message will appear in the upper right corner.
