The guide covers creating an Email campaign. A campaign holds the message to send to end-users. Follow the instructions below to create an email message campaign.

Create an Email Campaign

  1. Expand Send Messages in the left sidebar and select Campaigns.

  2. Click the Create Campaign dropdown and select One way to open the New One-Way Campaign window.

  3. Select Email for the message type.
  4. Click Next to go to the Details page.

  5. Enter your campaign’s name in the Name textbox.
  6. (Optional) Expand the Advanced section.
    • Language(s) – You can add or remove any supported languages. If you select multiple languages, the Email Messages page will have a Message Content box for each language.
    • Subscription – Select the subscription to use for this campaign. The default subscription will be selected.
  7. Click Next to go to the Email Messages page.

  1. In the From textbox, enter the Email Address to use as the sender of the email message.
  2. Enter the email’s subject in the Subject textbox.

  3. HTML is used for the message in email campaigns. The Message Content textbox is automatically populated with an HTML document to which you can add your message.
    • If you are unfamiliar with HTML, add your message after the <body class="iframe-email-body"> tag, as shown in the screenshot below. To create a new line, add two line break tags, <br><br>.
  4. (Optional) The Dynamic Values feature lets you include contact attributes in your message by dragging and dropping them. When you send a message with dynamic content, the attribute value for each contact will be automatically inserted into the message sent to them. If no value is assigned to a particular contact, the placeholder [Empty] will be used instead.
  5. Click Next to go to the Review page.

  1. Review the email message to make sure everything is displayed as expected.

  2. (Optional) Check to test campaign – If checked, the campaign will be tested by emailing the specified contact once it is created.
    1. Note: It is strongly recommended that you test all campaigns before making them live.
    2. Click the Email Channel dropdown and select the channel to send the test message. You should test with the channel you will use to send your campaign.
    3. In the Contacts textbox, enter the email address to receive the test email. To enter multiple emails, type a comma after the email, and the email will automatically be added to the list of contacts.
  3. Click Submit to create the campaign. The campaign message will be sent to the listed contacts if the Check to test campaign checkbox is checked.

  4. After creating the campaign, a success message will appear in the upper right corner.
