HubSpot – Sending a Single MMS Message

TrueDialog Integration

This article will show you how to send an MMS message to a contact directly from the Contact page. The TrueDialog Chat window provides one-to-one messaging.

Due to the limitations of shortcodes, two-way messaging only works with long codes.

1. From the left sidebar, expand CRM and click Contacts.

   

2. Click the contact.

   

3. Find the TrueDialog CRM Card in the right sidebar. Note: You can move CRM Cards by dragging them to a different location in the sidebar.

   

4. Verify that there is a valid number for Contact Phone.
5. Click Open Chat to open the TrueDialog – Open Chat window.

   

6. Click the Select Channel dropdown and select one of your long codes to message the contact.

   Shortcodes, Voice, and other non-phone channels can not be used with the TrueDialog Chat. If you have multiple long-code numbers, the LongCode option will select one of them to use.

   

7. Click the Image icon inside the orange circle to the right of the SMS Content.

   

8. Use the Open File dialog window to select the media file to attach.

9. Click Open.

   

10. The attached media file will now be listed under the SMS Content textbox. Note: To remove the media file, click the X icon inside the orange circle to the right of the SMS Content.

    

11. Enter your message in the SMS Content textbox.
12. Click the Send button (paper airplane icon inside the orange circle).

    

13. Once the message is sent, it will be displayed in the chat window.
