TrueDialog Integration

In this article, you will find instructions on how to use the import feature to add your contacts. The contacts are imported from an Excel or CSV file, with the contact attribute names as column headers.

The import tool will only import a column’s contents if the column header precisely matches the expected contact property names. Please refer to the table below for the list of column headers, their corresponding attribute names, and their format. If you need assistance importing your contacts, please contact TrueDialog’s knowledgeable support team: email support@truedialog.com or call 1-877-501-4276.

Warning: When importing contacts, any existing contacts will be overwritten by imported contacts with matching phone numbers. This means that the details of the imported contact will replace the details of the existing contact, even if the imported details are blank. For instance, if a contact has an email address but the corresponding imported contact doesn’t, the contact will no longer have an email address after the import.

Contact Attributes cannot be imported. Therefore, any existing contacts that are overwritten by an import will retain their existing Attributes unchanged.

Before importing a large number of contacts, it is recommended that you test your import with just a single contact to ensure that your column headers correctly match the attribute names.
