Salesforce – Disabling Reassign SMS From Converted Leads

When a lead is converted, the Reassign SMS From Converted Leads Custom Metadata Type is triggered to reassign the SMS records from the lead to the converted record. This article will show you how to disable Reassign SMS From Converted Leads. Turning off this Custom Metadata Type may be necessary if you receive Privilege Exceptions related to LeadTriggerHandler or any other error related to it.

1. Click the Settings Gear icon to open the settings menu.
2. Click Setup.

   

3. Enter custom metadata in the search box.
4. Click Custom Metadata Types.

   

5. Click Manage Records on the Reassign SMS From Converted Leads row.

   

6. Click Edit on the Activate ConvertLeadTriggerHandler row.

   

7. Uncheck Activate ConvertLeadTrigerHandler to turn off this Custom Metadata Type.
8. Click Save.
