MS Dynamics – Sending a Single SMS from SMS Chat

The SMS Chat instructions throughout the documentation demonstrate sending messages to a Contact record, but these instructions also apply to Account and Lead records.

This article will show you how to send an SMS message using the SMS Chat on your record’s page. For instructions on using the other features of the SMS Chat, see the following article.

1. Navigate to your Contacts page.
2. Click the contact you wish to send a message.

   

3. Click the SMS Chat button from either the command bar or the right sidebar.

   

4. Enter your message in the Message textbox.

   

5. Click the Send Message icon.

   

6. Your sent message will appear in the message thread.

   

7. Any received messages from this contact will appear in the message thread.
